Harbinger by A. J. Calvin: The third book in the Caein Legacy. The dragon skin-changer, Andrew, comes to the aid of his youngest brother in their quest to overthrow a tyrannical relative. Legacy, the final book in this epic series, comes out in November.
Starlight Jewel (Gifts of the Auldtree) by E. L. Lyons: Powerful tree-like Sprygans and their human hybrid offspring inhabit a feral yet politically complex world. There are also some twisted Cinderella references sprinkled in for good measure. Truly captivating.
The Whisper that Replaced God by Timothy Wolff: A fun, violent novelette featuring an eerie god an unstable protagonist. This is also packed with hilarious meta commentaries about indie publishing.
